The experts said that the use of this product will depend on the child, not the age, in any case, insist on hand washing and maintaining a distance to prevent infection.

One of the measures to prevent infection is to recommend the use of masks among children. You are not required to wear them, and you only warn when there is a real risk of infection (for example, when it is more difficult to maintain a safe distance). In any case, their use caused controversy.

Should children wear masks?

The use of masks among children depends on the personality of the child, i.e. whether he or she can wear a mask safely. “It is very difficult to ask young children not to take off or touch masks. And, with parental neglect, this protective measure can become the opposite. Therefore, it should be assessed according to their personality. Experts say: Children who move will become more complicated. On the other hand, there will be other people hanging out together. When they return home, it will be intact. The comfort of the mask will be there, too.

On the other hand, it should be remembered that, although they are considered “viral bombs” because they are asymptomatic and carriers, children have a lower rate of infection than adults. This is because “the relationship is established at different heights and adults can adjust the distance”.
